8th October 2020

In topic lessons, the children have been learning about South America. Using atlases, they investigated the countries in South America and discussed their different climates. Did you know that the Southern tip of Chile has an extremely cold climate? This is because it is located further from the equator and nearer to Antarctica. On the other hand, the temperature in the Atacama Desert is very warm in the day and cooler at night. This is because the desert is located nearer the equator.
