Curriculum Overview

We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which promotes equality.

English, Mathematics, Computing, Science and Physical Education are the core of the School’s curriculum, and great emphasis is placed on teaching the basic skills of reading, writing, speaking and using Mathematics.

Other National Curriculum subjects are Design Technology, Music, Geography, History, Art, PSHE and Languages (KS2). Religion and World Views follows the County’s Agreed Syllabus.

The 2014 National Curriculum forms part of the overall school curriculum. We are committed to looking for opportunities to enrich the National Curriculum through cross-curricular themes, school visits and memorable experiences.
