Year 6 Art- Zaha Hadid
Over the past few weeks, Year 6 have been learning about the architect Zaha Hadid. After researching her life and the notable buildings designed by Zaha, the children learned that she was greatly inspired by nature. Next, they practised techniques for sketching using pencils and black pens applying these skills to the sketching of shells. Finally, they designed and sketched their own design for a museum, based on our Science topic of evolution and inspired by the work of Zaha Hadid. The wonderful finished designs were cut out and laid over marbled paper. Have a look at how they got on – we think they are fantastic!
