EYFS Firefighter Visit

This half term, our EYFS classes are learning about 'People Who Help Us' in the community. This week, their learning has been focused on firefighters. We were very lucky to receive a visit from firefighter Jo. Jo told us all about the many ways firefighters help the community and talked us through the different parts of their uniform, explaining how each item helps to keep firefighters safe when working around fire.

We really enjoyed asking lots of questions, with our main interest being the poles that firefighters often use to move between floors of the fire station!
