Welcome to Arbury Primary School, our friendly and happy school family. We have established and continue to maintain a very experienced team of leaders, committed to the long-term stability and success of our school. We also have a very experienced, enthusiastic and committed teaching staff. Our staff retention is very good and we have very low levels of staff absence. This is a result of running a happy, well-organised school that families and staff choose to be part of. Relationships and wellbeing are at the heart of our ability to ensure that all children are inspired to learn. We value and celebrate the differences that make up our school community and encourage children to be proud of who they are and the families they are part of. Arbury Primary school is a feeder school to Chesterton Community College and is located within the catchment area.

Year 5 and 6 Athletics Competition

Some of our brilliant Year 5 and 6 students took part in an inter-schools athletics competition today and did a great job!

Year 6 Art- Zaha Hadid

Year 6 have really enjoyed their latest art unit inspired by the architect Zaha Hadid and they have created some absolutely stunning building designs!

Arbury Carnival 2026!

Families and staff had a wonderful time celebrating this year's 'Music Legends' theme at Arbury carnival with a fabulous turn out for the procession and performances from our school choir and samba band in the main arena too!

Puppets Here! Event by Cambridge Arts Theatre for Y2 and Y3 Pupils.

Children in Year 2 and Year 3 (Classes 5,6,7 and 8) really enjoyed participating in workshops led by the team from Cambridge Arts Theatre. Puppets Here! sessions were tailored to match the children's current learning and were a real hit - go to the page for quotes from our children on the day!
