Class 1 visit to the Sedgwick Museum

12th March 2019
Class 1 had a wonderful trip to The Sedgwick Museum Of Earth Sciences, in Downing Street, Cambridge. They were given the task of finding three things: a giant spider, the longest tooth and a hippo. They then had a lesson from the museum teacher who taught them lots of fascinating facts about the dinosaurs. The children were able to handle some of the fossils. One child's tooth fell out today, so we even had a lesson comparing a dinosaur tooth with a 5 year old human tooth!
If you are free at the weekend, the teacher encouraged the children to return with their families. It is free to visit and I'm sure your child would love to show you around.
