Arctic Talk for Classes 1 and 2

15th March 2021

Did you know scientists track penguins by spotting their poo from space? Or that polar bears are amazing swimmers and regularly swim 30miles - with some reports of them covering more than 200 miles?

Class 1 and 2 were very lucky to learn these facts and more in a talk from  a parent last week. He told them all about his adventures to Svalbard in the Arctic to enrich their learning about animals from the polar regions. They all learned lots of interesting facts and enjoyed seeing his pictures.
